Leading this innovative firm is Art Ross, serving as President & CEO. 1999-2004
In 1999, Arthur E. Ross, S.E. merged his firm with Cole, Yee, Schubert & Associates after 23 years in business on his own. The firm officially became CYS Structural Engineers Inc. in 2004.
1963-1999
Our story began in 1963 when Eugene Cole and Jimmie Yee founded one of Sacramento’s few structural engineering firms, Cole and Yee Structural Engineers. In 1977, Carl Schubert joined as a partner, and the firm became Cole, Yee, Schubert & Associates. Early achievements include the first building renovation in Old Sacramento, Sutter General Hospital, Capitol Bank of Commerce, the original NBA Arco Arena, Sacramento Convention Center, and the UCDMC Cancer Center.
