Location: Salinas Valley State Prison, Soledad, CA
CYS provided the structural engineering for this new 64-bed mental health facility addition to an existing facilty. The one-story masonry facility provides intermediate care for men including mental health treatment, support and administrative space. This is the first LEED-certified facility for CDCR, earning a Silver Certification. Revit was utilized for Building Information Modeling.
