Location: Concord, CA
Structural assessment of the Galindo Street Bridge for the Contra Costa Water District. Originally designed and constructed in 1939 with improvements in 1991, the bridge is part of a bike trail and has foot and bicycle traffic. It also serves as access for one residence at the south end of the bridge. In addition to the passenger vehicles from the residence, it must also service light duty maintenance trucks, as well as fire and garbage trucks. CYS also provided design support services during construction including RFI’s, site visits and submittal reviews.
